Hey all - found your forum as a hunter and the director of the film The Last Keeper. Thought I’d use the forum to keep members updated on the film and the impact it’s having both socially and politically. I strongly believe our rural communities need to see a benefit for doing the hard work of conservation (wise use of a natural resource) on a planet with 8 Billion humans. Wildlife and wildlife habitat only exists because we allow it. Otherwise most of it will be cut, burned and overgrazed. No place for wildlife.

Welcome, what are your go to rifles for what you hunt?

Watched "The Last Keeper" this evening, great film, very informative, good to see all the angles of what is happening to the landscape and the animals in this very polarised environment.

Some great footage, really nice production, very interesting.

I think this topic has been waiting for a quality production like this.

Thank you Tom.

Stunning part of the world. I have very happy memories of spending the summer of 1987 on the Flathead Indian Reservation, helping two wildlife biologists employed by the tribe to monitor beaver movements on the Flathead River for a study funded by a hydropower company. I think we were based near Polson.

Hi Tom. Just finished watching "The Last Keeper". Well done for making a film that shows what is being done to the rural areas of Scotland by the rewilding movement.
