Introduction for novice based in Cheshire

Hi Everyone,
I am 22 year old, Sport Psychology Undergraduate currently studying at Loughborough University who has a real passion for fieldsports and the great outdoors since I was a young child.
I have held a shotgun license since 2010 and have represented England and Great Britain in Clay Pigeon Shooting specifically Olympic Skeet. I was introduced to fieldsports and hunting by my Dad and have always wanted to try Deer Stalking, after finishing university this summer I am really motivated to get out and try deer stalking for the first time!
As a complete novice for Deer stalking or rifle shooting, any information or help to point me in the right direction to get a day stalking organised is really appreciated!

Hi Alex. Welcome from London.

There are a number of guides on here who will be happy to sort out some paid stalking for you and you can use the estate rifle as you don't have your own.

Make liberal use of the search function on here. It's amazing how many different people ask the same thing, so there are lots of answers around, giving opinions on all manner of things. And occasionally some facts emerge too, so it's not all bad!

Thank you! The forum takes a bit of navigation so I'll definitely use that search function.
It seemed the best place to go to find genuine likeminded shooters who know a lot more than i do, so hopefully I'll find some good opportunities hunting :D
