Hi all my bitch was in season back in mid march so expected her to go again mid sep and nothing has happened I'm a bit puzzled is this common with bitches many thanks

Yes, in my experience with bitches, which is all I have ever had. especially if they are kenneled with others, their seasons can be all to pot!

Yes they can vary quite a bit, some dogs stick to their own rhythm, some seem to come on randomly.
