It takes a lot to make me angry - however….

The fact that the tw at driving the car was so full of himself, that he was filming the events shows the lack of intelligence. The fact that he was given 12 years is a miracle in the first place as we see too many idiots getting a slap on the wrist rather than a lengthy sentence. The usual problem is the lack of evidence - which was provided by the moronic miscreant in this case - and so the guilty party can usually come up with any number of "excuses" , usually "sorry mate I didn't see you" or "the sun was in my eyes" or "he came out of nowhere".
The whole sentencing system in this country needs reviewing, only when these morons realise they're going to prison for a long time will they get the message.
I agree, although of course mostly these people believe they will never get caught.

And the chances of getting caught are significantly less due to the drastic reduction in Traffic Officers over the last 10-20 years, both North and South of the border..... funnily enough "Safety cameras" (sic) tend not to pick up any of the moronic driving offences these days, but they're good at getting a bit of revenue, so that's all right!

A young woman just up the road from me was walking over pedestrian crossing pushing a toddler in a push chair, speeding 4x4 hit her and carried on driving, she managed to push the toddler out of the way before , she apparently went about 30 metres and came down on her head ! 2 air ambulances landed in the park opposite and managed to save her put into an induced coma whilst swelling on brain settled .
With a bit of help from residents cctv they caught the driver in the new forest with a bottle of spirits and a pile of pills
