Items not received

Thinking back over the years to the (rare) times this has happened publicly on here before, I'm not sure I can remember a single time when it turned out to be a case of fraud. A few times it was a genuine misunderstanding, but almost invariably it ended up being a simple case of human fallibility. In other words, some disorganised bloke, leading a chaotic life, just getting himself in a bit of a muddle.

Up to you how you handle it (I do love a good hanging), but do be conscious that (thankfully) you're probably dealing with a fool rather than a knave.
I think you could be proved wrong here,as I've 3 pms from members having the same problem as me,
This particular knave was on the site yesterday morning,

That's a real shame. I was (like you) hoping it would turn out just to be a misunderstanding. :(

I've also sent him a text, forgot I had his number from trying to organise delivery. Hopefully he picks up soon and that all is well.

All, my brass has turned up this morning (Posted on Saturday according to the label). Guess he's just got a little behind but rest assured the guy must be genuine

Got my bullets today too, via Royal Mail Special Delivery, having been posted on Saturday.
Can't say as I agree with @Sabian223 about quite how genuine the elusive longrangestalker is as he messaged me on the 8th of February to say they were being collected by Hermes that day, then again on the 12th when he asked if they'd arrived yet. Kind of unlikely as he didn't bother to post them until the 27th.
Still, I finally have what I paid for and can put away my pitchfork.

Item arrived today, supposedly he had posted it on the 12th, but it's been posted on the 27th,
Why did he feel the need to lie,if he answered his PMS, and was honest people wouldn't complain, 🤨🤨🤨

Glad the items have finally arrived. I must confess stuff like this infuriates me. There's being 'disorganised', and then there's just being 'discourteous' . . . . .

Ok all's well that ends well. Both Alex and myself sent him a PM to remind him to respond to clients. In the meantime Alex has blocked him from using the classifieds. I should add that whilst everyone has issues in life, which from time to time get's in the way of life, it does not take but a second or two to contact anyone these days.

Bad for business and bad for your reputation if you do not respond and ignore clients. I think the ban from classifieds may well stay in place. I will consult with Alex.

Good work mods and members for playing it cool.👍
Is there a procedure in a sticky anywhere for other folks that might have problems.
I know common sense probably is the route, but have found myself in the past 'reminding' a member and not being particularly tactful after the item was forgotten about.

Nothing wrong with the post atm I sent a stock by parcel force on a Monday for repair and was back with me by the friday seems fast to me
