Pheasant snitzl.

Lay out two strips of cling film.
Lay two pheasant breasts on it and fold over with the cling film.
Now flatten the pieces.
Unfold the cling film.
Now sprinkle flour on the pieces both sides.
Now beat an egg in a bowl.
Now coat the pieces in egg and lay on a thin layer of bread crumbs on the cling film.
Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
Turn over and do the same that side.
Now dip the pieces in the egg again and coat with more bread crumbs.
Add spices or herbs to the bread crumbs to suit you!
Now get a pan of oil hot.
Add the pieces and fry for three minutes a side. Whilst frying clean up the cling film and look! No mess 😎 wifey happy!
Go eat.
 
I tuned into Nigella's Amsterdam Christmas today... a bit disappointed it was just another cooking program :rolleyes:...

Same as when I spotted the "Four in a Bed" program 🤭

Years ago when my father was in business you called out such people. A man that welched on his debts to his suppliers. Sh1t was the term usually used.

So pleasantly surprised yesterday SWMBO did a ham using the Nigella Lawson method ... cooked in CoCa Cola ......... AMAZING with the accompanying glaze treacle / mustard etc.

We do venison haunch in Coca cola, slow cooked till it falls of the bone. Wrapped in chinese type pancakes with spring onion and cucumber, a bit of Hosin sauce or sweet chilli dip and youre away.
