Kafkaesque events put my drilling in a coma: it may never wake up.

I have bought firearms off these guys before. They are good to deal with. They will export outside the EU which is what Brexit is going to mean.

this is an excellent price for an excellent drilling that you shouldn't need to ever tinker with.

I have bought from this dealer twice since 2014 with no issues, he has a second shop located at the big shooting range in Regensburg 60 km from my home where you can view the guns. But as it is an auction maybe thats not on. The Blaser cannot be so old as it it is the model they brought out i,first n the late 90s.

Must be a different Alan Rhone! nothing but help (yes help) and efficiency from the Alan Rhone I have dealt with - even to the extent of replacing free of charge, a fitting I had butchered and responding promptly to any queries.

Speak as you find, that's my experience of Alan Rhone and Erwin also. I also recall Roedinator telling me of his dealings with Alan with regard to a Kreighof shotgun, his words were "what an absolute gent to deal with".

Had a few rifle changes over the years  some without mounts or odd requests for some guys I know , the only one I call is Alan Rhone this is due to there years of doing it right , if its out there they have been the only ones to find out if it can be done to my spec, top crew IMO :tiphat:
PS Young Pete could tell a cock a mile away ? he knew if you were worth your salt .

Have you looked at teh possability of sleeving the damaged barrel down to 20bore?
Would be less machining work, as it may be possible to do adhesives, rather than soldering. (I've done 22 and 38 barrel lining this way. Not tried SG yet.)
Though having 16 and 20bore on the same gun, would require serious attention to not drop the wrong shells in the chambers!
