Alright folks with all this talk of kennels etc and i'm just setting off a new kennel block i'm building for myself.
Just putting the sub base down ready for the concrete, is there a set/standard fall u should aim for on the runs?
Can u have them too steep?
After previous kennels i have alway said i'll give it plenty in future, but u forget how much u gave them as been a while since i built 1.
Been in with digger/dumper 3 times now taking out bigger stuff and adding finer stuff and i must sub conciously always load the area to get it level. U think u have took plenty out then u think it looks too steep put a wee bit finer stuff in to blend it put the bead on it and its the same fall u had before

The runs are going to be 3m long, i was thinking 4-6"
