My brief introduction

Hi there, my name's Steve, this is my brief introduction.
Thanks for letting me on board, I joined a little while ago but only now am writing this post.
I've been reading many threads over the recent years about various topics, including rifle choices, scope choices, types of deer stalking etc.
I myself live in north Cornwall, born in 1989, married with 3 children, my boy who's currently 9, is just getting into shooting too.
I've held my certificates for 13 yes now, but deer stalking is a relatively new aspect of it for me. So far since march 24, I've had a roe doe, roe buck, red hind and a muntjack buck. I don't get out too often nor intend to shoot big numbers.
On my permissions, there's no over population of deer, so it's more about the enjoyment of getting out and having a go and the relaxation of doing something different than work. Occasionally I'll take one where it seems appropriate. Even if I don't see a deer, it's a nice outing normally.
I've done plenty of rabbit shooting, and foxing on my farm permissions, that is more the duty side of it, but also for the enjoyment of it. The odd rat at home too around the chicken runs too.
So my rifles of present are,
Bergara b14 in .243
Tikka t3x in .233
Savage 93. In .17 hmr
Cz455 in .22lr
Bsa ultra clx. In .22 sub 12
Hw99. In .22 sub 12
Hw95. In .22 sub 12

The springers see least use these days although I do like them. The airguns and .22lr have glass scopes that I can put an add on nv unit if required, the others tend to have day night digital scopes, although I have been swapping and changing a bit recently.
As far as stalking goes, I had one permission previously that I'd walk through the woods on, but I've lost that now due to the property being sold. On others I'd generally be waking field edges and keeping an eye out for deer coming out of cover, at dawn or dusk. I've never done high seat shooting. I like a good day night scope so that after dark I can be ready for a fox, without having to carry a bag full on bolt ons.
I did also shoot a boar in the forest of dean, I was lucky enough to be a guest of my friend David, (off of predator protection UK on YouTube). I'm known as Jethrow on there 😆
I also like working on gunstocks, I've made a couple from scratch, done plenty of repairs, refinishing and cutting / fitting comb risers. I do this for others too, but probably aren't allowed to say about it on here for a while due to the rules.
I'm keen to be a forum member so I can participate in threads sometimes, and offer an opinion or advise if I think it's useful or helpful to anyone, as well as continuing to read other opinions and debates etc.
Kind regards to all
Steve
