Longstrider has just sharpened three knives and repaired one for me, posted on Monday pm returned to me Friday am. Cannot believe how sharpe these knives actually are now they have been sharpened properly. Great service and communication throughout.
Cannot recommend Ian's service enough.

INCREDIBLE!!!!
I have just received 3 knifes back from Ian and used one of them this evening on 3 fallow.
I can not believe how staggeringly sharp it is and how well it has maintained its edge after 3 processed deer, it is FAR sharper than it ever was when it was new!
I can not thank Ian enough for his remarkable service, knowledge and skills to take my knifes to a totally different level.
Everyone should carry a knife sharpened by Ian as we all think we can put an edge back on our knifes but his work is in a league of its own.

I've just had three knives sharpened by Longstrider, including an Alan Wood. Suffice to say they have never been sharper!

Far, far better than my own feeble attempts, even with a Tormek system. The edges are like razors, and will hopefully last a lot longer!

All the better for the super responsive comms and lightning turnaround!

Under a microscope, an obsidian scalpel divides individual cells in half, while steel scalpel incisions look like they were made by a chainsaw.
