Label printer and freezer label recommendations

Hi all. After a label printer. Looking at a Brother QL-800 but wondering what labels people are using that won't mess up in the freezer. Any links would be appreciated.

I believe that Avery labels can be used in any domestic printer with the required software.

I'd say most thermal printer or laser printer would be good as there not affected by moisture.
A label from an inkjet printer won't work.

I just went online for label that fit my brother, because they are thermal rather than ink, no issues with smudging.

If you get the Brother printer I'd recommend sticking with Brother's own-brand labels. I've tried the generic ones and have had issues with both the adhesiveness and fading of the labels.

For the difference in price, stick with own-brand.

I use a QL-810WC 2-colour printer and print stock labels direct from my database. Works very well for me It also does the mix contents details for the back for sausages, burgers, etc.

I use a Phomemo M110 thermal label printer. Reliable, adhesive is fine in freezer. Cheap and simple for home use.

I'm using the Brother 820NWB, works great with DK22251 red & black labels off Amazon (Double Dragon brand) half the cost of brother originals, freezer proof & waterproof.

Using p-touch editor to produce some good looking labels from a spreadsheet database.
