Lamb

Kind of curious what secondary dishes are popular with lamb? I have an entire shoulder that includes the lower portion of the brisket and rib meat after cooking what meals are popular after this? I without a doubt will not be able too consume the entire thing outright and unlike venison I am rather picky on waste considering the entire reason the animal existed was for its meat, deer are at least shot for various reasons.

Is cutting it into two or perhaps three joints and roasting otherwise a smart idea? I realise I should of clarified this before acquiring it I realise!

Not too mention the defrost time!! 🤢 I will have too plan days ahead when I want it. 😅

Stovies. The best part of having roast lamb for Sunday dinner is knowing that Monday night is stovies night 🤤

If you have the neck fillet it makes a great Wellington, although depends on whether the butcher has left it on.

Mince some- burger/meatballs/sausages/kebabs/moussaka/shepherd's pie/bolognaise/lasagne

Best end/brisket and rib- slow cooked lamb stew.

This was based on a lamb recipe - just use lamb instead of venison
