Landrover Freelander diesel........................... pros? .................. cons?

think I may bow out before any BMW drivers find me.................. :D
its way past my bedtime and since I stopped smoking 3 weeks ago I am trying not to antagonise people heehee

Freelander head gaskets oh what joy and you get to do it again and again and again and again and when youfed up and get land rover to it it goes back again and again and again if you don't want a defender buy a grand vit or a hilux mk3 double cab

Well there is no way Mother could get into the back of a double cab. She has enough trouble getting into the Cherokee. Not only that there is no way that we can afford either a decent Defender or a Mk3 HiLux. So I am still looking.

Someone suggested the 2.2i Frontera so as I know someone who has a late Frontera slightly I will toddle round and have a gander at it and ask some questions. His is not for sale but he has run it for some years so it's worth the trip round to his place. Someone has also said that the 2.5L Cherokee's do about 30mpg..................... Hmmmm more to think about.

yeah the double hilux is a large one to get in and defenders are a lot of money for a decent one. a grand Vit is a good score and are relatively cheap to run do you do much off the track if you dont why not look at some thing like a Audi or Volvo rough roader or Rav 4! i will say though that the frontera will be just the same as far as access goes as a defender/hilux/cherokee
