I don’t think money (lack of) should restrict you. You could, for example, by a house with a couple of acres of land in Bulgaria for around £7k. Admittedly you'd probably have to modernise it a bit, but there ought to be enough change left over from the sale of your UK house to fund that, and probably provide you with a pension as well.
And no, I don’t loath you, because I know that in real life you're not quite the grumpy old bugger you like to portray yourself as on here

I don’t advocate violence against children but…I only ever shot something once as a kid I shouldn’t have with my black widow and I can still feel the sting on the backs of my legs 25 years later, learnt my lesson for life. Maybe the government should focus on prosecuting ****/ weak/ lazy parents for raising little tw**s rather than legislating and punishing everyone else.
