I’m surprised, and disappointed to hear all of this. I have one on my .308 and others have commented how quiet it is. Engineering quality of the mod and threading/crown seem excellent. I bought it from someone who had cancelled their order via another RFD so never met him.

I have one that came with a rifle I bought second hand. It is an engineering beauty and in .243 a lot quieter than a Stalon.

We’ve discussed this haven’t we.

I have no issue with the product I bought from him 12/13 years ago.

Things have since transpired which mean I wouldn’t deal with him again.

So the answer to your direct question is an unequivocal - NO

Note my post - I personally have no problem with the titanium mod.
