I really meant the way information/misinformation was delivered. I have no real idea how it is run, other than evidently not always in the interests of its members, but then I believe that is because it is a company not a democratic co-operative.

The BBC, in its usual sloppy way, didn’t report that the same chemical glycerol, is commonly used in significant quantities in some of the most common children’s medications.

It’s pretty simple, a decision has been made, we now have to make the best of it - either find something to change to (if you haven’t already) or give up if it matters that much to you!

Just stop complaining about something which has already happened, suck it up and get on with it!

Have you had lead levels in your blood measured? How do you know there’s nothing wrong with you, full bloods and scans done?

But it hasn't happened yet, its only proposals, its worth standing our grounds as individuals.

Close reading the minutes of the LAG appear to reveal a hidden agenda , possibly as far back as 2010, personally I wouldn't put any faith in so called "shooting organisations" in respect of this matter.

Don't ruin the fun they're all having Ben.

You are of course correct.

At the end of the day, there is a lead ban coming in the UK. It is no longer if but when.

So there are simple decisions to take.
1. Move on and find a solution that you can use / live with and carry on enjoying your sport / hobby.
2. Give up and find something new to do.
3. Ignore the law and accept the consequences of doing so.

I chose nr. 2 and am still enjoying hunting with both rifle and shotgun and clay pigeon shooting.
