Good timing for the tide also a decent wind, lots of teal tucked up on the sheltered side of the marsh also my 2 spaniels having a blast on the way to the "point" I dropped 5 decoys close to a small pool with them to float up with the in-coming tide.
Stiff breeze in the right direction as if any duck drop long they float up with the tide and get pushed over making less of a slog for the dogs, Toby picked the first teal then the second was for Finn who is learning to mark them but it all takes time!
It is no good getting upset when they are learning especially in the the mud and a stiff breeze
He got there in the end and swam for one later on which I thought I filmed but next time!
