Lee Precision - great customer service deserves to be called out

A few months ago I broke the plastic insert on my Lee Bench Prime. Not a great expense to replace and it broke because I was using the wrong insert for the calibre. Earlier this month, while reloading 8mm Mauser the top "wings" that hold the shell holder in place both sheared off.

I thought I would have to replace it and started looking at what with, but somewhat cheekily I sent Lee a direct email to their customer service address and included a couple of pictures of the break. Lo and behold, a few days later I got a reply email apologising and saying they would send out a replacement body (Lee equipment invariably comes in bits and you can order spares for most things). Took about a week to arrive and all I need to do now is to strip and replace the broken parts.

Thought it worth a mention on here, as many of us use the Lee kit and others seem to frown on it. Cannot complain about their customer service approach.

I had an issue with a sizing die 222 expander under sized leading to misshapen bullets. Emailed asking for advice, received a new part FOC by post.

Has "called out" changed its meaning? For me it has always meant to challenge or denounce. A gentleman might "call out" another in a duel over an offence to his honour. Because of this, the idea that "calling out" might be used to praise or commend someone seems most odd.
Perhaps it's one of those cases where an expression crosses the pond only to be reimported in a different guise. (I still struggle with "to luck out" not meaning "to be out of luck")

Agreed, I would have said "A shout out".
