Left handed bolt actions

This is what I ordered to be made for me in 2008 by a local gunsmith when I started hunting. It's a custom M98 based on a Zastava LH action and Ferlach barrel in 30-06. I do not own the rifle anymore as I prefer 6.5 mm calibers now. The scope is Zeiss Classic 3-12×56 and the whole package costed me 2700 € along with claw mount and riflescope.

My first lefty is a Rem .22 451. I still have it,( purchased in the eighties) long barrel but a tack driver. When I got into stalking,I bought a used left hand Heym 243 stuzen,Next, part exchanged it for a 6.5x55 Lakelander, short time later,I found a Heym 7x57, all lefties. Sold them both. Now, I use a TIKKA 6.5 LITE, and a Tikka varmint 223,followed by a Rem 700 30.06 all left handed.
Why should I not use what comes naturally to me, then why should the thought of losing a few quid when they are to be sold lose me any sleep.I might be in my box by then anyway.

There was a place in Suffolk that made Mauser clones, but at an eye watering amount of money.
Mayfair Engineering - Components | Mayfair Engineering - I think most of the top London makers use them.

Also FZH Services | FZH Waffen GmbH

And then there are a few US Makers - Granite Mountain Arms - M98 Actions

And there is of course the Ruger M77 which has always had a left hand version.

CZ made a lefty for a while in big calibres, and Zastava still do so. Zastava’s are pretty rough, but I have handled a few Interarms MkX, which use the same action, but cleaned up and they are a nice rifle.
