Frank the repair bill in half would be 400 notes mate the bins in my opinion are worth about 400 notes so its a no brainer. I will keep and use them and make sure when i buy bins i don't take in the hype that they have a lifetime warranty. Thanks for the post and i did consider but decided to bow out and let leica win this one lol.

Leica good glass but no extended warranty as promised .

correct there davey , good glass awesome customer service .

​mine were sent to germany on the 25th oct in service and repair on 30th repaired on 31st dispatched 1st nov delivery any day !! all done at no cost to me all under leica passport warranty .

you need to call the mayfair office , nothing but very helpful staff in my opinion !
