Wanted: Lever action or straight pull

Having sold a rifle and now having more than ample for all quarry. I find myself looking for a rifle to spend some time at the range enjoying shooting again without breaking the bank.

I am debating either a Straiight pull AR 15 in 9mm

Or my current favourite a lever action in 44 Mag.

Which ever rifle must be screw cut and ideally come with a moderator and a rail to fit a scope. Anything gathering dust out there.

My variation needs to be on by Tuesday.

Not after any reloading components.

Lever action 44 every day and twice on Sunday - the 9mm straight pulls are ok for open class but the marlin 44 is hard to beat and competitive out of the box and so easy to load competition e rounds for (240gr RNFP, 4.4gr titegroup and 1.55” OAL)

Best of luck whichever way you go.

Regards,
Gixer

Now leaning towards a smith and Wesson in either 357 or 44.

Tempted by the night hunter but undecided. If anyone has anything used gathering dust feel free to drop me a message. Need to get the variation submitted. Must be screw cut and ideally with a moderator.

Being a cheapskate... or just down right broke... haha might I suggest a chiappa kodiak cub for a spot of plinking? I've had one in 22lr for a number of years and a heck of a lot of fun for pennies on the pound... provided myself and daughter with hours of fun without breaking the bank and ear drums haha

I have no association with this add but it tweeked my nubs - luckily I DONT have a slot for it
