I'm after a small lightweight sound mod. suitable for .243
I just want one for walk round foxing, not expecting it to be the quietest, just one to get rid of some of the bark.
Thanks!

without selling a kidney DPT are the lightest and calibres specific
if you want the quietest option run a .22 rated baffle on your 243

HQS mods are very nice and slim
Likewise the Stalon Victor
both only available in 6.5mm options for 6mm though

drop me a line if I can help
We carry stock of all models

Ok, thanks for the replies.
I've got a wildcat evolution on it but want smaller and lighter, not bothered about the noise level as long as it takes it a bit off.

Shultz and larsen micro mod .lightweight slim but end can. It was about £165.00

I'm in the same boat, have a Ase Utra Jet-z Compact Moderator on my 243 but is too nose heavy, 500g ish

I've narrowed it down to the muzzle forward DPT and Freyer & Devik UTS200, both around 200g. The Freyer is meant to be quieter but twice the price and I don't like the look. The DPT is cheaper, better looking IMO but not as good sound reduction 🤷‍♂️

So i have done nothing and stuck with the bullet proof non aluminum Jet-z 😅

I run F&D FW149 and UTS131 mods on my .243 and .270 respectively. The numbers are the weights in grams - a quarter of an EVO.

I also have a UTS231 for the .308s and, prior to that, a FW196.

As you see, I think they are exceptional :thumb:

Surprised to see the weight differential with my atec (a3?) which is over 130g heavier. Atec feels fine but that’s quite a big difference!

Thought I'd update that picture with part of the current line up - there's still 2 more lurking elsewhere!

From left to right: SAC .22, F&D FW149 6.5, F&D UTS131 6.5, Oceania Defence Alpine Hunter 7.62, F&D UTS231 .30, Wildcat Evolution .243/.270/.308
