light moderator for .270

Still using T8's on .270's / .25-06's can't better them for suppression, if you set your rig right they carry well too, end cans for foxing ASE Utra's on .223's/ Fireballs etc.

Look up Barton Gunworks bought a Accurate Enforcer for my 308 not the quietest but even tho it's so light it really takes the sting out of the recoil.

Have a look at the Hausken JD series.
Hausken and A-tec are both Norwegian moderators and have been in business a long time.
The A-tec Hertz/ Carbon is a departure from their normal mods and quite similar to Hauskens design that has been gradually improved over the years.

I have, and am very pleased with, an MAE T Series Bushless moderator. They are stainless steel and are partially over-barrel so not only are they durable but also they don't stick out too far over the muzzle.

The best noise reduction I have come across using my mk1 ear is the Jet-Z, and while they are mild steel if you look after them they last a very long time. But they are very heavy.

I have used the Roedale and CMM4 and they are very light, if you are taking very few shots and walking long distances (where weight would or could be an issue) then they could be worth a look at.

But given the choice of metals available I would go for stainless steel every time and my choice would be between the MAE T series or the SL5.

And yes I have had titanium moderators and I would still go for the stainless suppressors every time, they are far better value for money.
