Recent research results, (Today) , prove that dogs do, definately have brains.... Marvin has just retrained his humans to throw a tennis ball up the stairs, while he stands on the first landing , catching the ball, if he judges the throw to be worthy, he returns the ball straight down the stairwell, if he judges the throw to be below his expectations, he retains the ball for a few moments then pushes it off the top tread with a flick of his tongue, a bit like the description of R J Mitchell rejecting ideas off the edge of his desk!....I hear we are to be tasked with snooker soon,.
