Lost and found….

I'm sure I can't be the only one on here who's put his rifle down, started doing something else, and then forgotten about the rifle?
Surely someone else has woken up in the middle of the night, remembering that their rifle is leaning against a tree in the garden?
Mistakes happen. We're all human.
I think this is honestly the best take.

Everyone makes mistakes. Some people are just in a position where human error has significantly bigger consequences.

I knew a (very tall/6'6") guy who went outside one night and shot a possum off his roof. With a .270.
He then threw it into the guttering and stood there in his dressing gown as lights came on all up and down the street and looked as surprised as his neighbors about the loud noise....
A week later his wife asked him how the rifle got back inside - faaaaark!
And that is how a famous in NZ gun magazine editor came to rebarrel his 270. The story made it into the mag, but none of the shooting in suburban Wainuiomata part.

RIP Graham.

Are you for real. Never in 40 years of shooting have I forgot a firearm.

Anyone doing this needs FAC revoking.
