Low Alcohol Wine

Try old weak beer - or maybe dilute vinegar - just tell me why you would want to !
I've tried no alcohol lager when driving on Friday nights - it tastes like horse **** or what I imagine it would taste like - it almost smells as bad as well.

You could make your own and forget to add sugar !

It's not just coincidence that many of these country pubs seem to have a riding school usually quite nearby.

Brewdog Nanny State is the only alcohol free beer that I've actually enjoyed. It's a very hoppy IPA style beer, comes in 330ml cans or bottles, available in Tesco amongst others.

I am not drinking it at the moment though...

I tried three different "low/no alcohol" wines.

Without fail, they were insipid muck, with the red tasting like overdiluted Ribena.

Some of the beers are more or less OK, with two IPA's being nealy there: Shipyard Low Tide & Adnam's Ghost Ship 0.5%.
As my plan was to reduce, rather than replace my alcohol intake, what I do is mix either of those 50/50 with standard Hobgoblin IPA which makes a very acceptable 2.7%ABV pint indeed.

I drink Becks Blue on non-alcohol days which, when chilled, is very much like the full fat version but I've yet to find a passable non / low alcohol wine
