My efforts over the last 4 years has put a big dent in the local fox population, the down side is they are thin on the ground which makes finding some to go to DEFRA for testing much harder.
Plus side lots more wild pheasants with a number of partridges showing...
I shot a vixen in the same field 2 weeks ago so a good chance he might have been her mate, a good eye shine back for my led spotting torch, squeaking while I flicked out my sticks in a routine I have done hundred's of times. Check once more with the led lamp just in case it has ####ed off...
Nice picture in the z6 of a fox looking right at me with its tail wrapped around like a cat out 160 yards...
Above average size that is for sure...Bagged and tagged for Tuesdays pick up..
