It ain't working 100%, even if done twice.
Works for most threads but others are still bold font.

Are you mistaking ‘New posts’ with ‘What’s new’?

Also, if you are reading ‘New posts’ someone can add a post at the same time. If you hit ‘Mark read’ it can be bold again for the posts not seen.

Mark Forums Read is how I use SD
I open the home page each morning and click show new posts, once I have read them all or rather those that grab my attention, I click mark forums read and close the page.
I don't look again until the next morning, works flawlessly for me, and has done since long before the new look software.
