Open to all - the BDS North West Branch and Forestry Commission are pleased to offer Best Practice courses on firearm familiarisation and marksmanship delivered by Bradley Bourner of Pro Sporting Solutions. The venue is the Graythwaite estate in the South Lakes between 08.30 to 16:30 on both dates.
Saturday 18th June – Basic
Sunday 19th June – Advanced
One can attend both or either day but, unless you are an experienced longer range shot it is recommended you attend the Basic prior to the Advanced course. For those attending the Advanced course previously the Sunday can act as a ‘refresher’ but Brad will also be adding new content.
This course will look at gun fit, marksmanship principles, zeroing, range estimation, wind judging, shooting positions, ballistics, non lead ammo, cleaning and maintenance. There will be an opportunity to put into practice the above on the range. You will need full third-party liability insurance i.e., BASC or BDS.

The courses will be delivered by Bradley Bourner who is a former sniper and instructor in the Royal Marines Commandos and now a professional deer manager and coach, see About – Pro Sporting Solutions
Cost is £120 per person per day. Numbers limited to 12 per day. To book or for more information please DM me your email address.
Thanks
Nick Jackson

I have done the advanced course in the past and it is excellent. Well worth the effort of going and the cost of attending. The tuition is to an excellent standard and delivered in a relaxed and professional manner by someone who has been, done and got more T shirts than most of us will ever have!!

I’m glad to hear that, I’ve just booked both days !!

I had done the first day a few yrs ago. Then I did the two day course with Tim ( VSS ) . Great course well worth it

any links to course content for the basic course?
It is fully booked yes but we have had a lot of interest so will look to lay on more with Bradley and I can add you to that list.

Can you DM me your email address please and I can send some more details?

Thanks

Thank you, I put a kalix onto a begara hunter, very nice and made it better for me to shoot anyway
Sorry, my mistake, I have just realised that photo was from the Day 1 cleaning talk, that is his Blaser R8. Both rifles in 6.5x55 Creedmoor, a calibre he is a big advocate of.
