Mauser M25

Out today. Straight pull competitor to the BRX1 🤔
Looks very nice and given the stablenits from,,it will be a well built thing no doubt .... no lefty version though? (The bolt conversion to L/H was the main reason I bought a BRX TBH).

Been watching more videos, that scope mount height is ridiculous and due to the design, I cant see how it can be lowered.

Unless they can suggest a far lower mounting height, I can only imagine people will be put off.

Maybe aftermarket suppliers will come up with alternative mounting solutions (hopefully)

Ah, but then you can sell a stock with an adjustable cheekpiece........

Buyers- "Wow, with a straight pull you don't have to worry about the bolt handle hitting the scope. It is even better than a 3 lug turn bolt! You can mount the scope so low!"

Mauser- "NEIN!!!!"

Just wait there may be in the future. After all coincidentally I've just been sent an email saying that some models of the M18 are now available left handed.

Going too swillingtons today too have a gander.am I right in thinking it's not a switch barrel??.I'm starting too like the idea of a couple of barrels and an action.better storage.transporting etc but I dont like blaser prices.anyway let's have a look

Looks good be honest. Every thing on the gun was smooth and finished very well.nicely built rifle.i was a bit sceptical about the scope mount being a bit high but it was spot on.the scope that was on was rail mounted but apparently there's a dovetail version knocking about so may be ok for normal scopes.the bolt is lovely and smooth but comes close too your nose so if you've got a big snout you might be in trouble 🤥.not sure on barrel lengths for different calibers. We need too se what the reviews say
