The durability issues I’ve read about are mainly about stripping threads, but I think that’s probably down to clumsiness rather than any issues with the product itself. Think I’ll go ahead and order one for my T3X CTR.

I’ve had mine since they first come out, done a trip to Africa and gets bounced about in the truck quite a bit. Couple marks on the cerakote and a piece missing out the foam on the cheek piece. Apart from that it’s as good as new. Probably get it re painted at some point and it will be like new.

T3 action, sassen sendero contour, 6.5 prc 1-8 twist, night force nx8, Timney 2 stage trigger, did have a ckye pod on but swapped for a tier one atac

If its any help I have 24" 308 rem 700 5r with a hik micro cheetah and evo mod total weight with a loaded mag is about 9lb 9oz.

It will be swapped with a 6.5mm or 6mm at some point. It's manageable, can still watch the impact but if you don't have a grip of it it will kick you around no end. I think with a heavier scope and mod it would be OK but defeats the object of a nice light rifle.

Just got one, it has a 6.5creed superlite in it, hopefully off to the range tomorrow to see how it performs (okay how I perform!)

Got the 6.5mm chopped to 20" and swapped it for the 308 the recoil is so much better!

I bet! Although having shot it today for first time with the 308, it’s not as bad as I thought

Did you go with the ckyepod hunter or standard model? I’m using a ckyepod at the moment but find it very heavy and am awaiting a 150g carbon alternative from New Zealand that is designed around the ckyepod adjustments.

Looks very interesting and a fair price for the featured.

As it happens MDT have acquired the New Zealand company and are retailing the bipods under their brand. I’m using sticks more often than. Anything and haven’t had a bipod attached.

Now, if I wanted to go lighter, the F&D FW149 6.5 I have fitted and worked well on my Browning .270 and I now have a a .30 cal UTS131 - I feel some range time coming on before its next out on reds.
