Meet up in Kent or edge of East Sussex.

Its been a year or two (more like 5) since the site last had a meet up for SE members. I am off now until early May, when I start on my Roe Buck cull. Therefore if anyone wants to suggest a meeting place and a date, please put it forward.
We have a lot of members now in the area and it would be good to put names to faces and get to know a few more people.

I'd suggest a lunchtime meet, not an evening one. Could suggest some nice places around my area (think St Leonards/Hastings), also with interesting places nearby for partners/children to explore whilst we others mingle. On a weekend preferably. Very accessible to many SE TSDers, make a good family day out of it, not just a meet-up.

Actually maybe focus on Hastings area, May Bank Holiday weekend. Lots going on. Jack in the Green, the bikers' run, Connected festival, etc. Will be rather crowded though, and those needing accommodation would need to get booking soon. Probably a daft idea. Maybe the weekend before.

Don't think weekends especially bank holidays is the best plan. Many members will.probably have family down and any pubs bound to be packed.

I used to go be in the parade for the jack in the green. The worst possible weekend to have a meet. The place was packed. Morris dancing up at the castle anyone to see the dawn in?
