I know there are a number of well-respected Gunsmiths on this forum but are there any that specialise in what might best be described as traditional metalworking, such as procurement and install of front/rear ramped sights, barrel bands for sling swivel, stutzen muzzle caps and true (lustrous) blueing?

There are. You need to look at the guys who traditionally trained and also deal in big game rifles.

So the likes of:

J Roberts and Sons

Sweetman and Co

Bozzards

Dicksons

Horton & Sons

Etc would all be worth a start. It also depends on what you want. There are a number of gunsmiths working on their own who mostly work for the bigger players, but will take on direct work.

To be honest most who deal in classic English shotguns should certainly be able to do fine bluing. Affixing and filing in open sights is another matter.
