MOA v's MRAD scopes.

scope is now on the rifle so there is no going back, will zero it in tomorrow at the 100 yard indoor range, and therein lies my first problem, tunnel needs to be 109 yards, and it isnt so i will be zeroing my rifle at 91 meters

Jolly good - I have a mixture of MRAD and MOA scopes. i also use a mixture of handloaded cartridges. What I do before a shooting trip is calculate the dialing solutions for various distances for the particular loading and scope I am using on that trip. Then I just memorise them. Keeps my brain from rotting lol

Really shouldn’t make much difference, subject to cartridge of course. Do download Strelock Pro or something similar if you want to stretch the range and just forget about MOA vs MRAD. Range, enter the distance and get your adjustments. Simple

When you say HMR is that 17HMR or The Bergara HMR?.
If it is the 17, why are you worried about dialling. Its about the hold over using the reticle.
