Moderator case

Personally not sure of the wisdom of one of these, condensation maybe?

Any other opinions?

The wisdom behind these is to prevent obstructions from entering the mod when not in use, anything lodged in a mod could have serious consequences, also makes an attractive storage option compared to chucking a mod in ones kit bag ;) (and may also reduce the tendancy for condensation..)

I thought about one a while back, just another peice of kit to sit in the drawer.

So the oily rag get's my vote also.

My sister turns me up 12" leather like covers,

cracking,inexpensive and replaceable.

bob.

An oily rag may be fine for storage but I use the case for transport. A decent mod is around £300 and a dunt/knock/dent wouldn't do it much good or ruin it. Could be £25 spent or £300 damaged :???:.
Different strokes for different folks.
