Moderator thread adapter?

The only proper way of doing it...
get the 1/2x20 rifle threaded with M14x1.
Everything else is half arse.

I can't remember the thread size of the mod but wilcat rifles made me one to fit their .22 RF mod on my 1/2x28 AR. For some reason, the first one they sent me wouldn't fit so they asked me to send my rifle in. When I got everything back, it all worked great. Think the cost was about £25.

Why not pop in to Roding Armoury and ask what they can do to help.
The know what they are doing and have the machinery to make an adaptor on hand.

Neil. :)

I'm only guessing they can
They have a lathe and mill, make all sorts of engine stuff, thread barrels etc, I really don't think it will be a problem for them.

Quite.....
½ unf and m14 are not so far apart ( .5mm) in their outside diameter’s
You need a reasonable amount of material to retain mechanical strength when making something to convert from one thread to another.
Do the maths on a re thread or a second mod and you will have your answer.
