Moderators in Hungary

Hi SD massive, having never been to Hungary in the 'Summer' shooting, only Driven Boar in Winter, so have no idea of the rule/laws reference the use of Moderators in Hungary.
I am going next month to shoot (I hope) pigs over damaged crops so would like to know if a moderator is acceptable.
I know I could ask the agent but if it is in black and white and he says No then that is it. but if it is something that is not covered in any Hungarian legislation then it may be a 'suck it and see' situation where nobody has been seen using one and so not been legislated for or against has been passed.
Anybody got any knowledge of their use or otherwise in Hungary ?

Hi Eddie
I hope you are keeping well?
I have been told you can't use them in Hungary but not seen it in black and white.
I'm sure someone will post something with a deffinate answer for you.

Regards Andy

Eddie,

definitive answer from a Hungarian friend who now stays over here is NO I'm afraid. Hope this helps you

Mick

Thanks guys, it seems a zeroing session is due without the Mod then.
I never use a mod on driven hunts but then I use heavy 220 or 180gn bullets.
As this will be shooting from a high seat at 'static' pigs with more precise aiming points I will be using a lighter bullet of the sort I use for Deer when a Mod is on the rifle. So my zeroing session will be without the Mod with 150gn bullets.
