Moderators on Visitor's Firearm Permit

Stalkers concerned by sponsoring Stalking visitors from EU knows that Brexit has changed close to nothing with Police about mandatory informations and documents to obtain a Visitor's Firearm Permit ( VFP). Untill now, visitors wanting to bring their own rifle with a moderator have just to produce a copy of their European Firearm Pass ( EFP) among other relevant document . This EFP had one line for the rifle and another line for the moderator. UK Police usualy granted a VFP valid for various period of time going fron ten days to one year and with two lines : one for the rifle itself and one for the moderator.

But things have changed, at least for visitors coming from France. France has put in service an electronic register of firearms and ended regulation of moderators ( réducteur de son in french ) .It means that now moderators cannot be registered on new EFP , so no official document to support moderator inclusion on VFP.

Hence the following question : have you experienced this problem ? what type of document have you produced to satisfy Police askings about moderators ?"

I'm surprised that the French authorities absolutely can't add mods to the EFP. I'm fairly sure that at least some other countries in Europe (e.g. Germany) regard mods as a controlled item - and as the EFP is intended for use abroad, you'd think they'd be able to add them.

That aside, I'd imagine it would be possible for the sponsor to get a mod added to the Visitor's Firearms Permit if it were explained to the issuing FLD that the mods are not subject to registration/control in the visitor's home-country?

Last year silencer became an unlicensed item in Sweden you just need to show your firearm permit just as then you buy ammo.
