Good evening everyone
I have always thought the most over look calibre/cartridge is a 17 wsm. On paper it looks fantastic but I can’t say I’ve ever shot one.
What do you guys think and why?

Cheers Rob

I'd have to go with the 8x57 . I've owned a few rifles chambered in this cartridge and still have a pre war 98 that will shoot well under one MOA all day . I've used mine to cleanly take all of the species of game we have , never any issues . It is a classic , and extremely efficient , cartridge .

obviously the 6.5 creedmoor !

people overlook it purely because they have read you need a man bun to have one , not true obvs as i have two creeds and zero man buns

it's a great round and in my opinion pretty much perfect for all uk deer species , yet people still have an irrational objection to it

It is a truly useful cartridge . I'd use it for all of our game , apart from large toothy things , but it wasn't designed for that .
