I just bought a pre-owned Hikmicro Cheetah which came with a rail mount - but the spacing of the clamp(s) is wider than the grooves on my .22LR. I think it’s meant to go on a Picatinny rail which I have on my .22–250. But would like to mount it straight onto the .22LR. I don’t really want to have to put an additional spacer/rail on it as the scope will then go that bit higher plus it’s another thing to require adjustment - in any case the low recoil doesn’t justify a Picatinny. But I can’t see any options online for a rail that will fit the .22’s existing grooves. Any ideas please
