Muntjac stalking

Hello matey peeps, I have permission to knock over muntjac on land just south of St Albans, very quite woodland surounded by large agricultural crop growing land, intersected by a river. The issue is, despite lots of obvious munty activity, tracks all over the place, I have only managed to locate 2 feeding in safe shoot able positions, duly knocked then over, however, it's the issue of the varmits being scattered all over the shop, eyes and ears working overtime, my question is, is there any legal, ethical no nos re filling up some pheasant hoppers with whatever, wheat corn, Mars bars 😁in order to hopefully attract the blighters to hang around in a few places. Has any body ever tried baiting in Muntjac?

Aniseed works on munties - a chap near me mixes up batches of feed and spreads it out in the morning and then shoots later that day or the next morning.

Pheasant type hoppers with wheat in will work absolutely fine. No legal issues to worry about. Best of luck of with it and always been ready for the second munty to appear after you’ve knocked over the first one.

Sugar beet pulls them in nicely. Feed a few areas and then site a high seat around 80 yds out at the busiest bait station. Rotate your feeding sites and enjoy
Best wishes

Timing is the key, I see muntjac feeding on their night shift say 9 pm so that is that deer's routine then it's next one and so on.
2 from the 3 I shot a couple of days ago were (as they do) feeding then moving along a yard or two.
the other was coming through a small field after I returned to collect the first to so his time to come into that field was 20/30 mins after the others. Yes they will feed around feeders but tbh I shoot quite a few with no use of feeders going back to what I said timing is key as their timing has to line up with yours as they have all day you have a couple of hours.
