muzzle break ?

I must say, your a true Gentleman to have so gallantly brushed this utter mess of a post to one side and have had the humble decency to both forgive, forget, and acknowledge a mutual respect for the mighty Fish and Chip supper !

Well, if it will make everyone happier to see the SD revert to its old self.......it should be "you're", not "your"....:coat:

Glad you've got them back. Sounded like a right saga, and worthy of a book

Oh no the saga continues as we are still trying to find out what has happened to a lot of my stuff as it has not been turned over to the RFD. Then there is the damage, the BSA CF2 that has been in photos on here many times was used by the Police and put into a too small slip whilst wet and with blood on it. When I as finally allowed to inspect some years or so after they were taken it was discovered in this condition and severaly rusted as a result, and the missing scopes questions to be answered. Several rifles seem to have lost their scopes whilst in Police custody. of course getting answers is a tough climb.

I still OWN them just do have them here. Sadly several have had to be sold to help with costs.

Sorry, thought that it had been resolved given your ownership comment... There's evidently still that yawning chasm between ownership and "eyes on".

Good luck and hope you're making some, any, progress

I have a .270 Win Mauser that a gunsmith fitted one to before I bought it, yes it is louder but it shoots more like a .243 Win in the recoil department.
Bad to use at the range but with small foam plugs in the ears while sitting in a high seat it is fine.
