If I were you I'd have to resort to some outrageous series of ropes and pulleys rope round my neck and onto the handle or a GPS beacon to make sure I never lose it

Here's my method with orange paracord to try and save any mishaps..

maybe not in keeping with your design but for me it's worked ok so far...but its early days

Google tells me there is glow in the dark paracord. I might have to get a bright colour and plat it with some glow in the dark too. It might look unsightly, but I would rather get back home with the knife with me rather than lose it!
