there will be more testing @ 100 yds plus once the wind buggers off

the load tasted was as follows -

federal once fired brass ( from my rifle )

140gn nosler partition
remmington 9 1/2 primers
OAL - 3.130

I was exactly the same when I pulled the trigger on the first shot, you should be able to get them touching at that distance, I am by no means an expert reloader, I load for my .243 and .308. I can get mine to clover leaf 100m if I'm not arsing about.
Try your seating depth, I have mine 0.010" from the rifling it worked for me. EACH RIFLE IS DIFFERENT THOUGH!!

Well done though, the problem now is trying not to shoot twice as often as it apparently is cheeper to reload.......

im going out sunday weather permiting to test at distance , im lucky on a bit of ground just down the road i can go back to 250 yds plus !
if i can shoot a 1/2 " grouping at 100 , 150 and 200 then that will do . ive not got time to be too anal about it

i would like to thank monkey spanner for his help and his advice , and JAYB for steering me in the right direction ! :-D :-D
