Here's my favourite "retreat" for when I want a bit of exercise, some peace and quiet and some "time out on my own" while surrounded by nature, wildlife and bird song with a chance of added few descent photos. Nothing special compared to some of you guys but I love it there and it's within a five minutes drive from my home!

Lovely pics, not a drop of snow here, not even on Dartmoor. A bit would be nice.
About 80cm snow depth in those photos. The two roe that we saw were struggling to go anywhere.

Always lovely to see deer in the snow. You live in a beautiful part of the world - we take a cottage in Ashintully several times a year except this last year or so, had to cancel 3 stays and now booked for May so fingers crossed!

What a lovely thought, thank you very much.
Bob’s a good guy though I still have a score to settle with him as he took my wife out for her first buck and she only shot a bronze medal!! She never ever mentions it as you would expect. Still stings!
