Namibia - Connecting Flights

I'm looking in to the options for flying to Namibia next June for me and my wife. South Africa Airways is coming in at just below £1800 at the moment for economy tickets.
A cheaper option is to fly Virgin to Johannesburg, and then SAA to Namibia.
Is it possible to book firearms straight through, even though it's separate airlines (but one booking)? Thanks.

Hi mate, I have just bought tickets for the same route 1st June -9th with SAA Heathrow to Windhoek via Joberg. I paid £590 each of us. If you can keep your nerve they will come back down to around £600 or even less by March. I did post a heads up about 10 days ago when I got mine .

It ain’t great on naimiba air either!!! But other than than it was actually a very comfortable flight.
