Been to a NT property today and walking round the shop I see bags of logs for £12 with a notice saying their purchase helps to support the estate. In the entrance building is a very nice and expensive feature log burner displaying a sign it will no longer be lit inorder to help meet their 2030 carbon neutral target.

Full of middle class ****ers.

Trying to rename Holy Island to Lindesfarne. It’s been Holy Island for 1000 years and that probably derived from Roman and Celtic times.

But some wummin thinks Lindesfarne sounds older worlde. Actually means Lindsey’s field.
