NEC Shooting Show

Since the move to the NEC I think it’s value for money at £20 compared to the Game Fair the Indoor Shooting Show has a much higher guns/kit to Tatt ratio

I was on a stand at the Game fair and i thought the whole weekend was spoilt by bad planning and people from the travelling community, I will never go there again.

Went in 2020 and never again. Craft gin, magnetic or copper bracelets and more Ridgeline clothing than anyone could ever want. The Tikka representative was incredibly unhelpful. The best thing….. seeing grown men walking round in full camouflage, most bizarre.

Will be there on Sunday trying out guns to buy for my forthcoming S1 grant. Disappointingly Viking Arms don’t have a stand there this year.

It couldn't have been that effective either if as you say you could see them....

Decided to go, there now.
Met my local firearms chap, had char about pushing my variation through and getting some land cleared. Very helpful. So in that sense money well spent.

Show itself ? For me the Stalking Show will be better.

No real bargains, was looking for a small knife to get round small deer arses.

nope, no more game fairs, no more shooting shows, cant see the point in paying to go somewhere to buy stuff, you would be up in arms if your local gunshop charged you £20 or 30 quid to enter there shop to buy something, game fairs are finished the pikey,s seen to that, theres nobody there, shooting shows are to expensive, save your money support your local gunshop. bs.

I went today and thought it was good. All the big names turned up.

Three of us had tickets to go and a flight booked from Aberdeen to Birmingham at 6.45 this morning and back this evening
However, storm Otto intervened and the flight was cancelled - BAS**RD
The ticket money will not be refunded, but we will get a refund on our flight tickets

Ive been a few times in the past and emjopyed it. The Fieldsports channel stand is always a laugh if they're there. Chatting to Charlie whilst being offered venison slices off a silver platter .. I kid you not!

I must have gone to a different NEC than the people above. It’s the same as last year, and believe me that’s not a good thing. Some stands are half the size they were last year due to stand costs. Hardly any reloading stalls and even less amo….
This was deffo my last attempt to the NEC

Hultafors make a super knife that is perfect for "tunnelling" - I got mine from Amazon - Hultafors 380220 Precision less than a tenner
