New brass prep?

As other have said + I also deburr the flash home and unify the primer pocket.

Does it help - it a small investment in time for cases that wil have a long life.

Shouldn't it be resize then expand with mandrel as the last step? Just saying.....
I’m not using the mandrel to set neck tensiion, just to iron out any damage to the mouth of the case, I’m using the bushing die to set the neck tension, hence it being the final step

Thanks Bo;
I was thinking that as new brass needs to fit any chamber as its designation that perhaps it is already undersized and apart from prepping the necks what’s the point FL sizing?
Cheers, Ken.
Through time the cases swell up and u need to full resize with case lube or I will start finding ir hard to chamber your rounds in ur rifle and I olso have found out if ur in a gun club or shooting with a friend and he has the same rifle as u and he has forgot his ammo u cand give him some of yours if u neck sieze they won't fit his but if u full size they will fit ur mate rifle.

I agree, but the thread is about prepping new not used brass.
Thanks, KB.

I chamber each case then check length, this is a good opportunity to examine each case too, neck-size and trim as required.
