New dm80 compact mod

Never understood why anyone would want to strip a mod wile out shooting. or when they get home for that matter.

Versatility? Adding more baffles when reducing noise as much as possible such as when shooting near built up areas (like Choc's ground) and then removing when out in open areas (the hill). I can see the reasoning for being able to strip and modify, although i must admit that i've never done so with my Wildcat. I've also used a T8 for years now without any prob - just a squirt of light oil now and again and also occassionally use the DM II.

Well if that is what you need to do then don't forget to re zero every time you alter your mod. As adding or removing weight from the end of your barrel will alter your harmonics and then alter your bullet impact point.
Me i would just go for one mod that does both jobs in one without changing every to minuets.
